Coach’s Skater Boys

For Coach’s first menswear runway show at LC:M on Saturday, Stuart Vevers looked to ’60s California surf culture and ’90s New York hip-hop skaters, with a dash of old-school East Coast prep for good measure. Models—both male and female—walked down the skate-park set sporting upgraded fanny packs (“hip packs”), satchels, and bowling bags. Standout looks included a series of swirling printed jackets in fuchsia and fluorescent green mixed with pale purples and oranges; a dark blue duffle coat with orange, faux-fur tiger-stripe trim; a buttery patchwork leather jacket with matching suede sneakers; a patchwork camo coat; and a pair of printed slides with a furry, sunflower-yellow strap.
