CAMPAIGN
“Coastal Hollywood-Hawaiian Breeze”: Chloé Spring Summer 26

New York might be freezing, but Chloé is bringing the heat with a coastal spring summer campaign, courtesy of creative director Chemena Kamali and photographer Sam Rock. The collection, modeled by Awar Odhiang, Jacqui Hooper, Julia Stegner, and more, delivers a lineup of silhouettes we didn’t even know we were craving: ’50s pin-up dresses, sharp cigarette pants, ruffles, and a journey to peep-toe heaven. And let’s not forget the bubblegum glam our editors have been salivating over for months. Did someone say electroclash?

EMILY SANDSTROM: Let’s jump into this gorgeous collection.
RIBEIRO: This is a beautiful shoulder. Chemena is that tearing the volume and depth. It’s all connected.
SANDSTROM: It’s really working.
RIBEIRO: Also, this very ’70s sky blue is so specific. It’s the platonic ideal of a pant.
SANDSTROM: You’re so right. I think we’re going to have a big pastel pants kind of summer.

RIBEIRO: Also, the peep-toe heel.
SANDSTROM: I fucking love these shoes. I first saw them on Addison at a Chloé dinner, and I remember zooming in and taking a screenshot of her feet.
RIBEIRO: Shout out Team Dara. Dara is a peep-toe-fluencer. I’m not surprised to see these appearing in this fabulous campaign because some of the most fabulous women in New York are already wearing them.

SANDSTROM: Addison also wore this floral dress.
RIBEIRO: I’m tracking the moves of all major brands by whether or not Addison Rae has worn them.
SANDSTROM: Exactly. [Laughs] It’s very ’50s Hawaiian pin up.
RIBEIRO: It’s all about the color. If someone pulled up on you in this, you’d be like, “God damn.” It’s the texture, and the… It’s not ruching, but it’s like–
SANDSTROM: It’s ruching, honey. Also I want to say for the record how much this bubblegum pink lipstick means to me. The shade reminds me of MAC Snob. This was everything to me when I was growing up. When I saw it on the runway at Paris Fashion Week for the Chloe SS26 show, I was so excited. And then Rachel Sennot wore that shade in an editorial shortly after. So shout out to Chemena’s Chloé for bringing this lip color back. Also I love these capes.

RIBEIRO: I like how big some of these layers are. It’s cool that they’re able to actually keep putting layers on in this way that’s still very light and airy. You’re able to move freely. If I was a beautiful woman with awesome ’70s bangs, and beautiful sunkissed skin, I would want to look like this earthy pastel Jedi.
SANDSTROM: Totally. Also this drop waist coat—it’s very ’80s, but it’s very indie sleaze.
RIBEIRO: Because the OG indie sleaze was the ’80s. That’s what the kids forget.
SANDSTROM: You’re so right. Let’s give our final thoughts on the collection. Mine are: Coastal Hollywood-Hawaiian Breeze.
RIBEIRO: Mine are: Earthy pastel Jedi.
