Last Call for 2025: The Interview Office Raises a Bottega Veneta Martini
Whether you take it dry or dirty, Bottega Veneta is raising a glass and ringing in the holidays with a twist. This December, the Italian luxury house returns with Bottega for Bottegas, its annual ode to craftsmanship, which sees the fashion brand collaborating with independent artisans from around the world to produce limited-edition objects worth coveting (and toasting with). This year’s iteration nods to three cities close to Bottega’s heart: silver-plated martini glasses by Milan’s Ganci Argenterie; cocktail sticks from New York–based silversmith Heath Wagoner finished with the house’s signature knot; and a Venetian-made notebook by artist Paolo Olbi that’s ideal for scribbling down cocktail recipes (or the kind of office-party gossip that never makes it to the group chat). In the spirit of reflection and revelations, we polled the Interview office about what they’re cheers’ing to in 2025, and the pop-culture moments that stirred, shook, and stayed with them long after last call.

Which moment from 2025 are you cheers’ing to this holiday season?
In an otherwise putrid year, I raise my glass to Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani for galvanizing New Yorkers and making sure the Cuomo’s stay resigned to the ash heap of history.
Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
I was shaken and stirred by the Cowboy Carter tour—which I saw not once but twice, both times at MetLife Stadium, once in torrential downpour—and the great privilege it is to be alive at the same time as Beyoncé.

Which moment from 2025 are you cheers’ing to this holiday season?
I really had my brain melted by 67 this year, so I think I’m raising my glass to that. I just bipped right on the highway.
Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
A pop culture memory from this year that stirred me was Geese’s homecoming show at the Brooklyn Paramount earlier this year. I went alone and cried a little and left after I cried. So fun!

A 2025 moment I’m cheers’ing to is managing to get my first job at Interview in this horrid economy.
Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
A pop culture memory from this year that stirred me was getting to see Oasis after the Gallagher brothers ended their 16-year feud. Not kidding when I say seeing them live made me let go of every grudge I’ve been bearing. #Biblical.

Which moment from 2025 are you cheers’ing to this holiday season?
This year, I’m raising my glass to Lily Allen’s comeback. The spirit of female confessional pop remains alive.
Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
I was stirred by the deaths of David Lynch and Jane Goodall. Both are personal icons. I think if Jane Goodall wasn’t a scientist, she could’ve been a Lynch muse.

Which moment from 2025 are you cheers’ing to this holiday season?
I’m cheers’ing to our new mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdami, for offering a speck of hope in the midst of what’s otherwise been a disastrous year politically. The night he got elected I went to a watch party at a Masonic Temple, where I got lost exploring the building (unpermitted) with a group of friends. The top six floors were abandoned and about ready to cave in, memorably filled with moldy weapons and coffins.
Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
This is tough. We’ve had some really fun ones, but I’m going to land with Marty Supreme. I got to see a screener last month and had the time of my life alone uptown at the Times Square Regal. It was just a barrage of noise–purely propulsive and wildly fun. I also love the noise around the film. Who doesn’t love a press tour that doubles as a carnival? Special mention to Timmy’s outfits, and, more importantly, Club Chalamet’s commentary on it all.

Which moment from 2025 are you cheers’ing to this holiday season? Name a pop culture memory from this year that shook (or stirred) you:
My answer is twofold, and I’m sending a bottle to Addison Rae’s table this year. Spotify Wrapped says I spent 6,601 minutes with her debut album Addison, which is frankly between me and my therapist. To call 2025 the worst year of my personal life would be generous, and slipping into her oddly specific pop universe felt like an escape. Roll your eyes if you want — she did something with this album. And for that, I thank Addison for my 2025 mantra: if you’re offended, say a prayer.
