Lipps Service: Bienvenido a Miami!
In our Friday feature, Lipps Service, One Model Management owner Scott Lipps shares photos from his fabulous life with us once a week, right here. This week proved no exception from Scott’s nonstop life—this is the first of two installments from Art Basel Miami Beach, as there’s so much going on down South. Scott’s camera is tired, Scott is tired, and he’s currently calling an air mattress home; glamorous indeed! But to back up: the week began in chilly New York City with stylist Katie Mossman’s Eyes Wide Shut-themed birthday party; a fun night at Casa la Femme with Hilary Rhoda, Heidi Mount, and Carolyn Murphy, but those masks are not so comfortable! Scott made a quick stop by Julian Schnabel and May Andersen’s engagement party with Terence Koh and Willem Dafeo, then off to a Tommy Hilfiger event uptown with Aziz Ansari. Next up, a cool showcase at Atlantic Records with singer Alexandra McDermott (keep an eye on her!), and then a birthday party for Louise Donegan swarming with models. After a quick hangout with Iron Chef Morimoto at the new casual-chic Tribeca Canvas, Scott decamped to Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, reimagined thanks to Hurricane Sandy as a costumed holiday party. It was a bit odd to see everyone dressed up like pumpkins in December—and a handy excuse to jet off to where it’s actually sunny. The first night, Scott got his bearings with a stop by the Soho House Miami and hung out with Milk Studios’ Mazdack Rassi and company—then began a plethora of parties.
