Chrishell Stause Shows Us The Lavish Listings and LGBT Hangouts of L.A.

CHRISHELL STAUSE

Selling Sunset’s ray of sunshine is taking over Hollywood. Since her first season on the reality show as the O-Group’s newbie realtor, Chrishell Stause has become a fan fave. And after closing on some of L.A.’s most desirable digs, the Kentucky sweetheart is taking it back to showbiz, starring in a new lesbian thriller, You’re Not Supposed to Be Here. When we called her up just before the new season of Selling Sunset drops on Netflix, she was kind enough to show us her very own Los Angeles, from date night destinations with G Flip, with whom Stause tied the knot earlier this year, to her go-to for queer karaoke nights—and even her newest penthouse listing.

4100 BAR

“G and I have a friend, Lauren Sanderson, who loves pool, and 4100 has so many pool tables. 4100 is not actually a gay bar, but it’s a very gay-friendly space. It’s got a cute photo booth that G and I have taken pictures in. They do pool tournaments, so that’s why we kept meeting our friend there. They have activities every night of the week, so there’s always something going on.”

WALLY’S WINE AND SPIRITS

“I like to meet clients at Wally’s Wine and Spirits in Beverly Hills because it’s such a charming spot, day or night. Great wine. The picture is the brie truffle honey baguette, and that is a must if you go there. It’s sooo good.”

FUNKE

“This is me and G with Chris Appleton in a tank top. We’re at Funke. I don’t know if it’s ‘Funke’ or ‘Funky,’ but it’s the hot new restaurant in Beverly Hills. It’s where Kim Kardashian just had her big birthday party. It’s so sexy. They play the best music and the pasta’s incredible. And then you can go upstairs to their beautiful rooftop and have a little nightcap. You’d have to plan this one in advance, because when something’s new and trendy, you have to, but it’s worth thinking ahead and making a reservation.”

THOMAS BRYANT’S HOUSE

“This is my client Thomas Bryant’s house, who’s on the Lakers and is so lovely. We actually filmed with him for Selling Sunset. I love that house, and Woodland Hills is such a beautiful area. He was really shy at first, and so for him to come out of his shell and us to sell that home was a really great experience. It was one of my favorite houses to sell.”

MALIBU BEACH

CHRISHELL STAUSE

“To be honest, I’m not a hundred percent sure which beach this is. I think it’s Malibu. The beach is a low effort but really fun just way to spend the day or a date night. Who’s not going to love going to the beach? G’s from Australia, so it’s nice for them to spend time by the water. If we both have the day off, we really like to plan beach days.”

HONEY’S

“Honey’s is a lesbian bar—let me look them up real quick—they call themselves a queer cocktail bar. It’s a new fun late-night spot on Western Avenue. I love the way that they design the space and they have different events every night. They have karaoke, they have queer speed dating, they have party nights with fun DJs. They always have performances, and sometimes they have cabaret. I love that they’re always doing something different. They’ve asked me to host and I’m definitely going to at some point, it just hasn’t worked out with my schedule. This is the best one I’ve seen in the whole city, and it hasn’t been open too long, so it’s good to give them some love. We want it to stay open, because some of the other ones are more geared towards men. This one is definitely geared towards women. But anyone can come, definitely.”

SOFI STADIUM

I just went to SoFi to see Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, and I’m actually headed back there this week for a football game on Sunday. It’s one of my favorite spots for big live events. Any venue where you can see Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and a football game is pretty cool. I went with my friend Chelsea to Beyoncé and it was quite the experience. She’s super fun. G had to fly to Australia the day of the Taylor Swift concert, and LAX is so close to SoFi, so they had brought their huge luggage and left straight from Taylor Swift to the airport. It’s the greatest way to wait for your flight.”

THE DOG BAKERY

Gracie loves to go to The Dog Bakery. They have the cutest little dog outfits, the cutest toys, great snacks, and it’s a really dog friendly area. If I’m running around, I like to do a little pit stop there and Gracie loves to walk around, because there’s so many other dogs.”

LAVO

“LAVO is a really great spot to do big dinners or birthdays. I feel like I’m always there for a birthday party. They have a lot of fun tableside things. You can get tableside risotto where they make it in front of you out of this huge wheel of cheese. They have lots of things that are fun for big groups, and cocktails that come out with over-the-top elements. They make a big deal out of birthdays.”

THE BUTCHER’S DAUGHTER

CHRISHELL STAUSE

“The Butcher’s Daughter is a vegetarian coffee, breakfast, and lunch spot. I try to cut down on meat when I can. Pigs are so cute and they’re really smart, so I try not to eat them, and I personally can’t tell the difference with the substitutions. I’d way rather have that instead. They have my favorite breakfast sandwich here. It’s basically egg, cheese, and avocado on a croissant. It might have faux bacon. And then I just get an orange juice and a cappuccino.”

THE PENDRY RESIDENCES

I wasn’t sure what to send for the photo, but it’s at the Pendry Residences. That’s my latest listing I have right now. It’ll run you a little over $4 million, so it’s not for everyone, but it is perfect for someone looking for 24/7 VIP concierge living in the heart of the Sunset Strip. What I end up selling is all over the map. While Woodland Hills is a little more family friendly, this Sunset Strip one is more high-end penthouse living. It’s currently for sale.”
