Tonight, for the third annual Fashion’s Night Out, stores across the country will keep their doors open late and offer fun shopping surprises and celebrity hosts to try and persuade you to spend your hard-earned cash. When the economy’s down, women still buy lipstick, it’s been famously noted. So here’s our rundown of some of the must-stop-by destinations in Manhattan for all things beauty. Free lashes, a Justin Bieber sighting, and supermodels applying your mascara: how can you resist? Happy shopping!
Who: Lancôme
What: Lancôme spokesmodels Arlenis Sosa and Elettra Wiedemann—two of the faces of Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara – will be helping with lash makeovers from 6–8 p.m.
Where: You can find Arlenis at Macy’s Herald Square (151 W. 34th St., at Sixth Avenue) and Elettra (daughter of former Lancôme face Isabella Rossellini) at Saks (611 Fifth Avenue, at E. 49th St.).

What: Dolce & Gabbana—and Justin Bieber!—will pay homage to “Passionate Duos” with the pre-launch of Passion Duo lipstick. The evening will benefit “Pencils of Promise.”

What: Complimentary makeovers will be available courtesy of Dior Celebrity Makeup Artist Ricky Wilson, and DJ Alexandra Richards will be spinning tunes. Dior is launching the new Velvet Eyes line—couture-inspired, reusable eyeliner patches being sold exclusively for Fashion’s Night Out. Dior makeup artists will be on hand to help you play with the four different styles of liners.

What: Guests at SpaceNK will receive a complimentary skincare consulation from Tata Harper and create one-of-a-kind Tata Harper select samples.

What: You can create your own custom lashes at the first-ever “Lash Lounge.” MUFE Lash Tenders will help you design your own one-of-a-kind lashes.
