Enter Bottega Veneta’s Joyous Winter Collection

For his debut Bottega Veneta Winter 2022 collection, creative director Matthieu Blazy ushers in an era of intimacy. The result is a lookbook that celebrates the artisanal heritage of Bottega Veneta, bringing photographers, directors, and models together across borders and generations to craft a set of 41 still and moving images that embody the spirit of Blazy’s euphoric vision. The series begins backstage at the San Fedele in Milan, travels to the Horst Festival in Belgium, and returns again to Italy, ending on the southern coast. The images reflect the connection between the creative team, and the exuberance of Blazy’s “foundation collection,” which features reimagined silhouettes of Bottega Veneta’s signature basket-woven leather, as well as structured-yet-sexy separates, and decadent dresses with hems brushed by luminous fringe. Never mind that summer is over, we’re ready for Blazy’s joyous winter.
