Dara Dresses Up Downtown’s Luminaries in Emporio Armani
On Tuesday afternoon, a few hours before we hosted a party with Emporio Armani at the Bowery Hotel, we welcomed some of the coolest and most stylish New Yorkers to the Interview offices to play dress-up in the brand’s luminous fall/winter 2023 collection. Our fashion director Dara, who knows her way around a ladylike silhouette, styled Grey Hoffman, Amy Fine Collins, Stella Rose Gahan, and Quiet Luke, among others, in bedazzled suits, cinched waists, and leather trench coats, providing a moody, sophisticated, and gender-bending roadmap to your wardrobe once the temperature drops. Oh, and don’t forget the accessories: suspenders, leather gloves, and aviator-style hats pull it all together. Scroll on to see how we imagine Emporio Armani F/W23, creative directed by our very own Mel Ottenberg and photographed by the great Morgan Maher.
