DO YOU HAVE ANY RITUALS OR SUPERSTITIONS? I race with dirty hair, because I have this idea that my swim cap is going to slide off. It’s totally irrational, but I have this mental image of coming out a hot mess, with my hair all over my face, and I still have to bike and run all over the place looking like Medusa.
GREATEST FEAR: Being exposed as a fraud.
DO YOU HAVE A RECURRING DREAM? Yes, my teeth crumbling. The Freudian interpretation of teeth dreams is sexual frustration. Honestly, I don’t understand it. I don’t believe in the Freudian interpretation.
DO YOU HAVE A SECRET TALENT? Well, if I tell you, it’s no longer a secret. I think I’m a decent artist. I’m an artist’s soul.
FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL: A burger and fries.
CHOSEN SUPER POWER: Time travel. It would be pretty exciting to see different periods in history, pop in, hang out with Cleopatra, go for a little boat tour down the Nile.
WHO WERE YOU IN A PAST LIFE? I was definitely a farmer, lifting hay bales somewhere in Switzerland. I was a peasant girl with many talents.
WHO WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MEET? I do want to meet Obama. But I would like to meet pre-2008 Obama, before he had been a bit defeated. So optimistic, hopeful.
