After being cut from Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, the Slovakian singer regrouped and returned with the Grimes-produced “MachineGirl,” her high-octane EP The Provocateur, and the club-ready single “SexOnTheBeat.” Now the former ballerina is working on her debut album, with nothing holding her back.

In Paris, at Le Meurice.

What are you wearing?
My boyfriend’s leather pants.

What do you like to eat?
Pancakes and crêpes.

What do you do that’s bad for you?
Not enough sleep. I don’t have that many vices.

What’s your favorite body part?
Probably boobs or feet. Not in a weird way, I just love a good archy foot. It’s the ballerina in me.

Who do you tell your secrets to?
My therapist and also kind of everyone. I’m an open book.

Where do you go to hide?
Onstage, because that’s the only place where no one can reach me and I get to do what I truly love.

What meds are you on?
I’ve been sick for the past three weeks AND I’m on my period, so too many to count rn.

What do you do in the shower?
The regular deal. I also have an extensive hair dyeing routine every time I wash my hair (jk I’m a natural pink).

What reminds you of your childhood?
Certain Slovak folk songs. My mom’s cunty ass platinum bob that she used to rock back then. Hannah Montana.

Do you crave attention?
Yes and no. I get mine from work. I think I’m pretty chill about it in my personal life though.

How do you sleep?
Not well. Not enough. Best when I’m next to someone I love.

Working very hard and subsequently doing well at my job.

Who are you jealous of?
I’m not a very jealous person tbh. I’ve never compared myself much to other people.

Dancing, singing, performing, laughter. Money too.

My family.

I’m literally always sweating. So everything I guess.

Kindness, love, equality, empathy, healthcare, peace, humanity.

Sometimes I have to put on my “Adéla” mask and charm people when I feel like shit or I am super tired.
