Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and the Realest Real Housewives: This Week’s NYC Celeb News Map

This week was one for the queens. From Rihanna in Soho to Ariana Grande in midtown—to Ramona, Luann, and Dorinda at her concert—our Star Map was littered with this generation’s greatest female icons. Here, we’ve tracked the best of the best star sightings, outfits, and other famous-ish things, making news across New York City’s five boroughs during the week of June 16.

RIHANNA at THE WEBSTER, SOHO, MANHATTAN

The Bad Gal is back in a big way. On the heels of the announcement that she’ll become the first woman to create an original brand at LVMH—and her Interview cover story by Sarah Paulson—Rihanna touched down in Soho for a launch party celebrating her Fenty clothing collection at The Webster on Tuesday. Arriving three hours late, in true diva fashion, she stunned in a little pink dress and talked size inclusivity: “Of course we have our fit models, which is the standard size from factories,” she told E! News. “But then I want to see it on my body. I want to see it on a curvy girl with thighs and a little bit of booty and hips—and now I have boobs that I never had before!” We stan a queen!

ARIANA GRANDE, RAMONA SINGER, LUANN DE LESSEPS, DORINDA MEDLEY, KARLIE KLOSS, ZAC POSEN, and MORE at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN

One of our dutiful Interview spies spotted some legends among legends: the realest of the Real Housewives of New York—Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Dorinda Medley—at the Ariana Grande concert Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. We heard they were bopping along to “Thank U, Next”—which also happens to be their motto when it comes to Chardonnay. Never break up with Bravo, ladies—we’re never bored.

Meanwhile, up in Noho, fashion icon Christy Turlington was spotted at a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, hosted by designer Maria Cornejo. Supporting women’s reproductive rights: something that will always stay in style.

LADY BUNNY, STACEY BENDET, and SOFIA RICHIE at 356 WEST 12TH STREET, WEST VILLAGE, MANHATTAN

With Pride fever sweeping the city, our favorite queens came out to teach the children. The legendary bunny DJ’d a party for Alice and Olivia in the West Village Tuesday, where guests like Jason Biggs and Sofia Richie bedazzled rainbow thongs and scarfed down boxes of Williamsburg Pizza. If Pride month is an excuse to bedazzle a rainbow thong, we don’t ever want it to end.

BRUCE WILLIS at RAG & BONE, SOHO

and EAST VILLAGE INK, EAST VILLAGE, MANHATTAN

In our perpetual quest to live our best lives, we took some cues from none other than Bruce Willis. Willis has been busy this week living his best life, shopping in Soho and inking up in the East Village. In a wonderful newsboy cap, Willis was spotted at Rag & Bone holding up a gray T-shirt over his current gray T-shirt, because you can never have too many gray T-shirts, especially when you’re John McClane. He also started off the week with some fresh ink by artist Jess Mascetti, who wrote “South Paw” on Willis as a tribute to his nickname as a child. Mondays, am I right?
