Young Miko’s rise has been anything but typical. From her start as a tattoo artist in Puerto Rico to becoming one of Latin trap’s breakout stars, the 28-year-old has racked up hundreds of millions of streams and toured stadiums with Billie Eilish. But success came with a cost. Ahead of the release of her latest album, Do Not Disturb—a title that doubles as a mantra—she answers some questions about her come up.

What’s your worst habit?
“Dessert before the main dish.”

“Around the end of last year, I got too involved in work and social media and opinions, and I felt the need to take some time for myself. Heart and mind on DND.”
