Mark Ronson & The Business Intl’s New Video Takes Us Back

Mark Ronson & The Business Intl (the collective name for Ronson and the wide variety of collaborators he enlisted for help with his latest, Record Collection) have just released a new video, for the single “Somebody to Love Me.” The track, which was written by Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, Cathy Dennis (Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”), Anthony Rossomando of Dirty Pretty Things and Klaxons, and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow, features Boy George and Andrew Wyatt on vocals. George is sounding better than ever these days, and we suppose we have Ronson to thank for that.

The video, directed by Saam Farahmand, is rigged to look like an early-’80s home movie. It follows Boy George from a surprise party in his honor to a live gig, a car ride, a park, and assorted other locales. At one point, Boy George fellates a banana. What’s not to love?
