Three’s a Trend: Twin Sets
Published April 28, 2010
In the time of Louis XIV, it was perfectly normal to wear what you wore to bed in public. In fact, (lucky him, or perhaps not) Louis’s bed was public—his station in the middle of Versailles was where he greeted ambassadors and nobles. I’ve been really intrigued by the intimacy and immediacy I can bring anywhere with me when I feel like I’m wear pajamas or boxer shorts. Although I had to get out of bed to do it, I found these great matching printed shirts and shorts that look really great worn as a twin set. It’s a bold statement that you could wear to bed, but which you definitely shouldn’t keep to yourself.
