Sundance 2011: The Twitten, a Swag Highlight

THE TWITTEN.

Clothing meant for two people to wear at once isn’t usually practical—a sweater with two neck holes or a three-legged pair of pants hardly suits anyone but the Halloween-costumed or the Siamese. Finally, however, there exists a useful two-personed article that solves an age-old winter dilemma: it’s too cold to hold hands, and interlocking gloved fingers just aren’t cozy enough. Enter the Twitten: one mitten for two hands. The handholding couple can split a regular pair of gloves to house their respective unTwittened hands, or two Twittens can be used and the couple can walk around with both hands intwined as if preparing for “London Bridge.” The double Twitten technique also comes in handy for ice dancing.
