Beach Bag Necessities for a Grown-Up Spring Break

Back when we were teenagers, Spring Break was the best week of the year: travels to warm, beachy destinations; the perfect amount of relaxation (and sun) needed after the dreadful winter months and midterms. As adults, Spring Break has somewhat lost its allure, but that doesn’t mean we have to cease our springtime island getaways entirely. And it’s the perfect time: most universities had their breaks last month, so if you take a jaunt now, you can find yourself far from both the rainy weather we’ve been suffering this spring and the body-shot crowd.
We asked one of the coolest makeup artists in town, Molly R. Stern, who counts Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Connelly, and Leighton Meester as clients, to give us the rundown for her must-have beach bag necessities this spring. In light of April and Earth Month, Molly chose quite a few eco-friendly products to add to those beach bags as well.
