Where are you? Front row at the Lacoste fashion show in Paris.
How did you get here? My tennis thirst traps carried me all the way.
Who are you pretending to be? I’m pretending to be a professional tennis player, but unfortunately the illusion only lasts until anyone sees my backhand.
What’s today’s theme? Definitely tennis… but like tennis if everyone showed up in couture instead of sweatbands.
What’s keeping you going? My grandma keeps me going, if she’s still modeling at 77, I can wake up for a few early fashion shows.
How long did it take you to get ready? It took me about 20 minutes to get ready this morning. The show was at 10:30 AM, which is basically 6:00 AM in fashion week. So I rolled out of bed and ran.
What’s the best part of your outfit? The best part of my outfit has to be the racquet bag, which also comes with a racquet inside.
Do fashion shows make you nervous? Always. But it helps to picture everyone naked. Except Mel. Mel will forever be in denim in my mind.
Are you good at small talk? Now I am. Fashion week has been like boot camp for small talk. A year ago I was awkward, but now I would consider myself “smooth.”
What’s the most embarrassing thing in your bag? Unfortunately there isn’t space for anything besides my tennis racquet. So maybe that’s what is embarrassing.
What did the show remind you of? The show reminded me of a locker room—the set, the towels, the tennis gear. But not as sweaty as I would have liked.
Who caught your eye? Grigor Dimitrov. Tennis players at fashion shows are my weakness.
If you could steal one piece from the collection, what would it be? All the Lacoste team wore these white collared shirts with “For tennis use only” printed on the back. For some reason, those were the ones that really caught my eye.
Where are you going in those runway shoes? I’m currently on my way to a cafe to down some caffeine and eat a croissant or two.
What are you doing tonight? I think I’ll lay in bed and watch some Gossip Girl. I’ll think about rolling out of bed and going to the Lacoste after-party TBD.
What time are you going to bed? Anywhere between 10 PM and 5 AM. It’s my self-control vs the Lacoste Rave tonight.
What was the bag situation? Tennis bags, tennis bags, tennis bags. I know it’s been the talk of this interview, but I was obsessed.
Who is the winner of fashion week? Did you see the ending of Challengers? I think everybody won…
