It is difficult to pick just one favorite piece from jewelry designer Renée Lewis’ “Shake” line, but this beautiful, black diamond and gold necklace just might be it. Lewis uses vintage stones found at flea markets and re-sets them in gold to make one-of-a-kind pendants. Applying the concept of re-worked vintage to jewelry, Lewis’ necklaces have both a history and modernity. A little bit of sparkle to make up for the lack of winter snow. $24,000 at Barney’s.
