Hilary Duff Is Seated For Fendi SS26

On Wednesday afternoon at Fendi headquarters in Via Solari, creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi supplied Milan Fashion Week with a much-needed infusion of color, shape, and fun. “Simple gestures with complex work behind them,” she said of the brand’s SS26 collection, where florals and furs appeared alongside baguettes and bralettes, some sparkling and other beaded. And don’t forget the Fendi dolls, perched politely in their front-row seats next to editors, stylists, and A-list celebrities. One of them was the iconic Hilary Duff, who took a break from carpool duties to attend the show. For the actress and recording artist, as she told us in our post-show questionnaire, Fendi SS26 reminded her of “the power of being able to spark joy through fashion.” In other words? This is what dreams are made of.

Where are you? I’m in bed (yawn) in Milan.

Do fashion shows make you nervous? Sure, there’s always some nerves with so many characters around.

Are you good at small talk? I think so — I’m pretty chatty.

What did the show remind you of? The power of being able to spark joy through fashion.

Who caught your eye? All the people carrying dolls.

If you could steal one piece from the collection, what would it be? I was really into the sparkling bralettes and sparkling high-waisted underwear with the sheer dresses on top.

Where are you going in those runway shoes? I walked to dinner in the rain in mine!

What was the bag situation? Love the trend of holding your oversized bag like a pouchy clutch.

What are you doing tonight? Dinner with the Fendi crew.
