“Hard Stomps and Fierce Looks”: Inside Demna’s Gucci FW26 Debut

Father, Son, Demna for Gucci. We turned up to Palazzo delle Scintelle at 2 PM on a Friday, where Gucci turned the venue into a monument of marble, complete with a 3D-printed sculpture garden. It felt like a grandiose fashion show of the golden era. Time warp! Everyone is on the edge of their seats for Demna’s debut catwalk show at the famed Italian house, especially after dropping a mysterious moodboard of archival photography and AI-generated imagery on IG. What does it all mean? Demna didn’t disappoint.

The front row was filled with hotties like Shawn Mendes and Romeo Beckham, who totally mogged us down. Paris and Nicky Hilton cozied up next to Alessandro Michele and Donatella Versace. So rich. To top it all off, Kate Moss rolled out as the grand finale with a surprise Gucci thong on her backless dress. A new era of Gucci is cemented and it’s glamorous, hot, sexy and weird.
