Getting Hot and Heavy in the Dior FW26 Greenhouse

No white box?! We arrived to the Tuileries Garden expecting the usual: a minimal box set in the middle of the park which houses the grand Christian Dior fashion show. This season, newly appointed Jonathan Anderson has made another big change. He got rid of the box and built a greenhouse above the lily pad pond. It looked like being in a Claude Monet painting, but the glass box quickly heated up and turned it into a hot and heavy sauna.

Things got even hotter when Paul Anthony Kelly strolled in dressed like a very sexy aviator. The girls were hounding the heartthrob! Swoon! Anya Taylor-Joy brought a rose to match her dress. Charlize Theron descended in like a Dior Darth Vader in a strict bob and thigh high stockings. J’adore! Emily Ratajkowski rubbed elbows with Macaulay Culkin. Worlds collide. For his second ready to wear collection, Anderson started off with a bang. Fluffy skirts started bouncing down the bridge. Paired with draped bar jackets, he mostly reiterated what’s become his new Dior signature. A casual mix of the avant garde with some very regal regency. Everything looked bouncy and light. Lots of lace and trims and jewels. A total embrace of pretty! We clapped, wicked the sweat and hurried to the doors for fresh air. Whew!
