CAMPERLAB’S 1978 Loafer Enters the Classroom
School is back in session with CAMPERLAB. This fall, designer Achilles Ion Gabriel, known for leading a sexy, surreal revival of the Spanish footwear brand, is bringing together practicality and whimsy with the 1978 loafer. The new collection is a tongue-in-cheek reinterpretation of the classic back-to-school shoe, featuring a sleek silhouette elevated by funky finishes, like neon-green calfskin and a rainbow of color-layered brushed leathers. With the loafer’s durable construction and ’70s-chic design, CAMPERLAB is definitely pulling straight A’s this semester.
