The Meme Makers of @THNK1994 Run on Dunkin, Vape Juice, and Antibiotics
The name of the Instagram meme account @THNK1994 stands for the Tonya Harding Nancy Kerrigan 1994 Museum, an IRL exhibit created in the 25-foot long apartment hallway of its creators Matt Harkins and Viviana Rosales Olen. In keeping with that ethos, they’ve always been interested in curating a zany and bizarre selection of female-driven celebrity content, from Sarah Jessica Parker reaction memes to Lindsay Lohan’s old tweets and screenshots of outrageous tabloid fodder. What keeps them going through the long days of posting? Viviana’s brand new credit card, along with “altoids, vape juice and antibiotics,” as they reveal in this week’s SEARCH HISTORY. To learn more about the feed curators of the digital age, we DM’ed Matt and Viviana to talk about the time Gwyneth Paltrow saved someone’s life, the Oz family’s growing political dynasty, and their go-to Dunkin orders.
THNK1994: 71 (combined age)/ M (Matt) F (Viviana)/ NYC
INTERVIEW: What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
THNK1994: Oil pull for 15 minutes while setting up supplements (broccoli seeds, black seed oil, sea moss from the store on 1st Ave and 6th street).
INTERVIEW: What’s in your bag?
THNK1994: Altoids, vape juice and antibiotics.
INTERVIEW: What’s in your system currently?
THNK1994: Today so far: birth control, ibuprofen, broccoli seed pills (x2).
INTERVIEW: Who is mother?
THNK1994: Kelly Cutrone.
INTERVIEW: What is your fave piece of Gwyneth Paltrow wisdom?
THNK1994: She also saved someone’s life on 9/11. Almost hit someone with her car which made them late.
INTERVIEW: What state was your first fake ID from and is there any sort of story behind it?
THNK1994: I (Viviana) got my first novelty ID in Las Vegas where I’m from, I was 16 and my friend Marita who I worked with at Barnes and Noble knew a lady who would take your picture in her apartment and then print it up. I (Matt) never had one 🙁
INTERVIEW: When you’re not drinking ambiguously sourced alcohol, what’s your Dunkin’ order?
THNK1994: Caramel Iced Coffee Medium, milk, no sugar. It gets you JAZZED.
INTERVIEW: Is that a swirl or a shot?
THNK1994: We go to the Dunkin across the street from Zarin Fabrics. I think it’s a swirl but in true Dunkin fashion they make it a little different every time you go.
INTERVIEW: What’s your desk lunch?
THNK1994: The hottest lunch spot is actually Lenwich. We get the farmhouse on toasted white and the caesar wrap sub kale.
INTERVIEW: Paper or plastic? (money and bags)
THNK1994: I got my first credit card this year (Viviana) so I put everything on it. It’s a Walmart credit card but you don’t have to use it at Walmart. It’s such a sexy feeling using a credit card. So, plastic for money! For bags we carry everything around in a stop and shop tote. Should I send a picture of my credit card?
INTERVIEW: Who is your favorite heiress?
THNK1994: Ok, our favorite heiress would have to be Daphne Oz, don’t know anything about her Father but love her cooking videos. She’s Dr Oz’s daughter. So, part of a political dynasty.
INTERVIEW: Birkin or Kelly?
THNK1994: I think we would choose Birkin because we think that’s what’s in this painting by Laura Collins.
INTERVIEW: What’s the most absurd step and repeat from the archives? Charmin is a personal favorite.
THNK1994: Fiber *is* so important.
INTERVIEW: Do you feel more Mary-Kate or Ashley today?
THNK1994: MK every day.

THNK1994: Sally Jessy eps on youtube.

THNK1994: Zero ❤️
INTERVIEW: Choose one: money or clout.
INTERVIEW: Print or digital?
INTERVIEW: What’s your password?
INTERVIEW: What’s the best thing to come out of 1994?
THNK1994: This sweatshirt.
