The new Miss Universe, Jimena Navarrete (formerly known as Miss Mexico), enjoys some post-victory attention last night in Las Vegas. The 22-year-old beat out Australia’s Jesinta Campbell, Jamaica’s Yendi Phillipps, Ukraine’s Anna Poslavska, and the Philippines’ Venus Raj–not to mention the 78 other ladies who did not make the Top Five–with her answer to a question about the amount of unsupervised time today’s kids spend on the Internet. “We must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family.” Not exactly earth-shattering, but it showed a bit more insight than Raj’s answer to the question, “What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made in your life?” Her response? “You know what, sir, in my 22 years of existence, I can say that there’s nothing major, major problem that I’ve done in my life, because I’m very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me.”
