As the co-founder and owner of the super-chic Miami boutique, The Webster, Laure Hériard Dubreuil is an Art Basel expert. Last night marked the beginning of true Art Basel nightlife, which I began by attending the MOCA dinner.
Last night crescendoed with the Interview and Valentino launch of Valentino's Pop Pois collection, which will be sold at the Webster.
This week the art world and Interview decamp to Miami for Art Basel. We've asked the super-chic Laure Hériard Dubreuil, a Parisian expat and owner of Miami boutique The Webster, to share her top her top six Basel essentials.
A quick detour from the usual Wynwood and Beach fairs, I visited one of my favorite spots to relax and escape, Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens. Jorge Cardo's exhibition of 103 chandeliers was spread out through the gardens, lighting up the night and all the flowers and plants. We arrived at the golden hour of sunset, which was beautiful and memorable.
Last night we welcomed Kelly Klein at the Webster for a signing of the sixth book, Pools: Reflections. With photographs by the likes of Robert Polidori, Nikolas Koenig, Mario Sorrenti, and Kelly herself, the book is beautifully curated to show the highlight of pool culture from the 1970s to today.
A new way to consider the role of the curator and the public's input, Paddle8's exhibit is a must-see for anyone during Basel.
