Welcome to SOUND ADVICE, Interview’s weekly destination for playlists curated by our friends, enemies, and lovers. In recent weeks, we’ve featured playlists from Lexee Smith, Soccer Mommy, and Wallows. This week’s edition comes straight from the enigmatic 9mice, who hails from the underground of Eastern Russia, just a few days after dropping his latest music video for “Jungle.” In anticipation of his upcoming album 9MM, 9mice crafted us a gothic/post-industrial playlist, which he describes as “perfect for those late-night reflections and moments of solitude.” Then, he took the time to answer our Sound Advice questionnaire, where he got into his passion for Lana Del Rey and his nightlife philosophy: “I don’t walk the same path twice.”
