The Cannes Film Festival Exposed!

For its 79th year, the Cannes Film Festival delivered on all fronts: Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord took the Palme d’Or, La Bola Negra earned one of the longest standing ovations in the festival’s history, and the French Riviera looked as obscenely beautiful as ever. We sent photographer Francesc Planes back to the Croisette to capture what the world’s most prestigious film festival actually looks like beyond the red carpet.
