We’re obsessed with Cathy Horyn, and might take her up on some of the “Five Things [We] Need for Fall,” particularly the Givenchy gold-band anklet pumps. But we also sense another emerging trend piece hidden in this Thursday Styles piece, one that seems far more Metro section, or even—dare we say it—Time Out New York. Is Horyn suggesting that deep in the architecture studios and antique Dutch furniture depots of DUMBO, a racy sort of sexual freedom reigns? We’re kind of hoping not.
