This week in Sarah Jessica Parker news, the wine-maker extraordinaire was seen in a flowing, hot pink dress courtesy of Zac Posen the at the New York City Ballet Fall Gala. Laverne Cox, Brooke Shields, Ali Wentworth, Prabal Gurung, and Kelly Ripa were also in attendance, serving some stunning looks of their own. Parker, a vice-chair of the gala, also sported mismatched shoes, à la a similar occurrence in an episode of Sex and the City. Both Aidan and Mr. Big could not be reached for comment.

Just when it seemed New Yorkers were going to have to learn to live with the monolithic data harvesters that are LinkNYC kiosks, none other than Interview favorites the Teletubbies have seized control. Several stations in Williamsburg have been, er, modified, with the trademark Teletubby TV screen/stomach cut out along the frame of the kiosks. Are they the of the ilk of the kiosk basher of yore, sent to rid the city of Big Brother? Or are they our new, cybernetic overlords? Either way, we have just one thing to say: Eh-Oh!

Jessica Simpson, 2000s pop darling, has been making bold public appearances around town following a dramatic weight loss. “Everything that I’ve been eating is mostly made with cauliflower,” the singer-actress said while promoting her latest clothing line on HSN. “I don’t like the word ‘diet.’ I just ate a bag of Cheetos in the back.” And nothing says Libra season quite like frantically switching between cauliflower and Cheetos.

Ralph Gonzales, the operations manager at Big City Auto Body & Towing in LIC, monitors radio calls in search of feline trouble, and has rescued more than a dozen cats seeking shelter inside car engines. “I’m an animal lover,” says Gonzales, the proud owner of Tigger the tabby. “I see an animal in distress, I gotta help.”
