Mr. A and Moët Invite Some American Graffiti

Graffito-cum-nightlife-mogul André Saraiva is no stranger to mixing work with romance. He is, after all, the man responsible for the Love Graffiti series, a canon whose most recent entry is a tribute to Saraiva’s own lady love, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, who’s likely this weekend to be found canoodling with Saraiva at his brand-new New York outpost of legendary Paris club Le Baron, the early reviews of which have been nothing short of rapturous. Indeed, love just seems to follow Saraiva wherever he goes—as does a trail of empty Champagne bottles.

With all this in mind, it was with greater-than-usual interest that we received the news of Saraiva’s new Valentine’s-themed collaboration with Moët & Chandon. It’s a little complicated, so bear with us: buy a limited-edition magnum of Moët Rosé this V-Day and you’ll also receive a pink “graffiti” marker and stickers that you can use to deface the bottle to your heart’s content. (We think a simple “I ♥ YOU” won’t be sufficiently creative—perhaps a cheeky limerick?) Additionally, you’ll find a QR code that allows you to download the Moët Rosé app for iPhone, iPad and Android, which combines virtual graffiti with Google Street View, so the user can tag almost any location—his true love’s childhood garage door; the Washington Monument—without fear of arrest. The app also allows the convenient option to “find the best places to drink Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, as selected by André”—and with that, we’ve hit our daily limit for the accent aigu.
