"I'd like to introduce Allure cover girl Chris Pine," writer-director Alex Kurtzman joked at last night's screening of Dreamwork's People Like Us. A jovial mood, for a not-quite-so-jovial film. Interview joined the film's stars, Elizabeth Banks and Chris Pine, as well as Kurtzman, at the Chelsea Cinema for a screening of the film, followed by poolside Grey Goose Cherry Noir cocktails at the nearby Hotel Americano. Kenneth Branagh, armed with a cane, attempted to sneak into the film unnoticed by photographers. This was unsuccessful.
Other guests included Zachary Quinto, Dana Delany, Zosia Mamet, Gina Gershon, Olivia Thirlby, Tony Danza, Henrik Lundqvist of the NY Rangers, Russell Simmons (double-fisting popcorn), Coco Rocha, and Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir.
