Last night, the New York Academy of Art held its Annual Art Auction Benefit, Take Home a Nude, which honored artist John Currin. Along with cocktails, music, and dinner, both a silent and a live auction were held for drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures by emerging and leading contemporary artists; Ross Bleckner, Eric Fischl, Jeff Koons, James Nares, Jenny Saville, Kenny Scharf and Donald Sultan were all featured. And everyone went home nude.
