After Venice, Basel can seem like a come-down. But then Venice didn't have a performance by Pharrell Williams at the annual Perrotin boat party, in celebration of his collaboration with Murakami. His first full-blown artwork went for $2 million—not bad, eh? Venice certainly doesn't have any "young art," the way Basel as Liste and the opening of works by Ida Ekblad and Nils Bech at Far off-site New Jerseyy.
