Fendi’s Fall 2011 collection is all about unleashing your inner wild child. Demure, buttoned-up layers and sober silhouettes give way to radical mixes of materials and textures and daring flashes of skin. A similarly unbridled, individualistic feminine attitude hangs over wounded rhymes, the latest album from Swedish singer Lykke Li, whose lullaby voice belies a raw expressionism as she pushes the edges of pop without quite tearing it to pieces.
