AriZona 20 Years

In celebration of their 20th anniversary, AriZona has created a brand new flavor, Cherry Lime Rickey. Every new flavor needs a new signature label, so AriZona invited artists around the world to submit designs. After whittling down the entries to a "top 5," Arizona has assembled an eclectic design panel of fashion designers, artists, musicians, golfers, and Interview's own fashion direct, Miguel Enamorado, to select their favorite. Here, Miguel interviews his fellow judges about their creative qualifications and what they are looking for in the winning design.

AriZona 20 Years: Josh Koterba

The son of famed cartoonist, Jeff Koterba, musician Josh Koterba grew up in a pretty artistic household. Here, Josh tells Interview about how his images factor into his music; his relationship with his father; the best part about his one-man band, Sail by the Stars; and how all of this influenced his  design choice for AriZona's new Cherry Lime Rickey.

Arizona 20 Years: Jack Nicklaus

Another golf and iced tea legend is Jack Nicklaus, also known as "The Golden Bear," a long-time friend and competitor of Arnold Palmer. Since his retirement from professional golf, Nicklaus has become something of a designer himself and designs golf courses. We spoke with Nicklaus about golf as a "gentleman's game," his favorite colors, and how he evaluates designs—from golf courses to clothing to tea cans!

AriZona 20 Years: Arnold Palmer

Arnold Palmer is legendary for two reasons—his amazing golf career, and the classic American beverage that bears his name—lemonade mixed with iced tea. Curious as to how the relationship between iced tea and golf came about, we asked Palmer about how his beverage began, his hobbies, his partnership with AriZona, and why he chose the TinBacic design for AriZona's new Cherry Lime Rickey.

Brooklyn-based artist, musician and creative director, Sam Wheeler is used to working with commercial designs—he's built window displays, presentation sets, and installations for everyone from Hermes to Barneys New York. We chatted to Sam Wheeler about the evolution of his artistic career, lifestyle curation, what "art" means today, and his visual interpretation of AriZona's  brand.
