By the next afternoon, they were in the studio, which tells you everything you need to know about how the Indian-born, creatively restless singer operates. A former model who also studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, Naisha is someone who follows her artistic curiosity to its logical conclusion. In this case, it’s 911, a borderless debut EP where Hindi melodies and Caribbean patois share space with rave-indebted production and Bollywood drama. Consider this your introduction.
