Who has Suki Waterhouse got her eye on? The Mormon mothers who follow her on Twitter, a few Desperate Housewives, and our very own editor in chief, according to the London-born model and musician herself. Waterhouse, who is releasing her debut studio album, I Can’t Let Go, this Friday, is currently gearing up to join her label-mate Father John Misty this summer on his North American tour. All eyes are on Waterhouse—but that’s something that the veteran it-girl is more than accustomed to. Below, we asked Waterhouse a few questions about her own stalking habits, her guilty television pleasures, and her preferred methods for getting our attention.

———

INTERVIEW: What did you watch last night?

SUKI WATERHOUSE: I just discovered the reality TV show Pretty Wild with the girl from the Bling Ring. But I fell asleep watching a video of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis in their kitchen with Vitalik Buterin which was weirdly enthralling.

INTERVIEW: How do you watch?

WATERHOUSE: Triple chinned!

INTERVIEW: Who are you watching?

WATERHOUSE: Everyone.

INTERVIEW: Who watches you?

WATERHOUSE: Mormon mothers on Twitter.

INTERVIEW: Who do you stalk?

WATERHOUSE: Stalkers.

INTERVIEW: How do you get attention?

WATERHOUSE: Eating with my fingers.

INTERVIEW: What do you do when no one’s watching?

WATERHOUSE: Manically search for clothes I can’t find. I’m addicted to the sense of loss and joy that comes when my bucket hat is lost and found again. A bliss washes over me and I feel complete.

INTERVIEW: What movie do you know by heart?

WATERHOUSE: Sex Lies and Videotape.

INTERVIEW: Which show do you watch the most?

WATERHOUSE: Desperate Housewives..

INTERVIEW: Where do you keep your dirty videos?

WATERHOUSE: I don’t regard any of them as ‘dirty.’

INTERVIEW: Are you a voyeur?

WATERHOUSE: I’m an oral voyeur. I like knowing secrets. I think they teach me a lot about the world and myself in how you keep or don’t keep them.

INTERVIEW: Do you get shy on camera?

WATERHOUSE: Yeah, if I don’t like the lighting! Shy and upset.

INTERVIEW: What do you hate-watch?

WATERHOUSE: EVERYTHING.

INTERVIEW: Do you watch the news?

WATERHOUSE: I watch BBC news for a peek of the House of Lords debates. I’m there for the wigs. English politicians have that private-school-boy buffoonery that is always entertaining.

INTERVIEW: Do you like being watched?

WATERHOUSE: Yes. More so in private than publicly.

INTERVIEW: Do you watch what you eat?

WATERHOUSE: Yeah but not like crazy. I’m a lot less dysmorphic than I used to be.

INTERVIEW: What’s the best movie theater?

WATERHOUSE: I only really go to the AMC on Sunset.

INTERVIEW: What’s the best streaming service?

WATERHOUSE: The Discovery Channel.

INTERVIEW: What’s your favorite channel?

WATERHOUSE: Oxygen TV for trashy American murders.

INTERVIEW: Do you ever feel like you’re being surveilled?

WATERHOUSE: Yeah, but I wish it had more of an impact on me. If it forced me to leave the house always looking fabulous, that would be great.

INTERVIEW: Who do you love?

WATERHOUSE: My funny boyfriend.

INTERVIEW: Who do you follow?

WATERHOUSE: Julia Hobbs, Evan Ross Katz, Mel, Jeremy O. Harris.

INTERVIEW: When was the last time you lied?

WATERHOUSE: I told my makeup artist I liked the look.

INTERVIEW: What’s the last thing you got in trouble for?

WATERHOUSE: I woke up with a laptop cord around my neck, which was more of a troubling situation than an in-trouble situation. I try to avoid getting in trouble at all these days.
