Izzy Spears has just come back from touring with Yves Tumor, but instead of laying low, he’s more prolific than ever. With his sophomore EP, M*A*D (Miss American Dream) released on Friday, Spears nudges us towards elevated resolutions for the new year—”get your shit, and get your bag”—and a refreshed sense of self love—“I feel so good I wanna fuck myself.” In his music, Spears flings the pendulum from raw grunge chaos to serene sonic landscapes, and the playlist he’s made for us, titled “WHY YOU M*A*D,” is no different.
