Weekend News Roundup! Tony Winners; Pippa’s Single; Emma Watson’s Leaked Vogue Cover

VOGUE, WE’RE GONNA LET YOU FINISH, BUT WE CAN THINK OF AN EMMA WATSON COVER SHOOT WE LIKED BETTER…

Happy Monday! Here’s our compendium of pop-culture news you may have missed while you were doing more important things over the weekend.

• At last night’s Tony Awards, The Book of Mormon beasted the competition, winning nine awards including Best Musical. Other notable winners included Frances McDormand (Best Lead Actress in a Play), War Horse (Best Play), The Normal Heart (Best Revival of a Play), and Anything Goes (Best Revival of a Musical). Neil Patrick Harris hosted, and was appropriately suited up. [Tony Awards]

• Pippa Middleton, sister of Duchess Catherine and owner of the posterior that launched a thousand blog posts (and at least one Facebook group), has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend Alex Loudon. [Daily Mail]

• In a relatively uneventful weekend box office, Super 8 opened on top with $37M; X-Men: First Class followed with $25M; and The Hangover Part II, Kung Fu Panda 2, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides finished out the top 5 with $18.5M, $16.6M, and $10.8M. [BOM]

• Lily Allen got married (and looked lovely!) and is also pregnant. Everyone’s at it! [People]

• Emma Watson’s Vogue cover leaked, and she is looking very pretty and grown-up—so why did someone write “piece of shit” in Sharpie on the cover? Was it the leaker? So many questions! Anyway, Vogue posted the story after the photo was leaked. [The Cut, Vogue]

• Williamsburg, Brooklyn is getting another flea market; we can’t wait to hear what Brian Williams has to say about this. [Racked]
