Vfiles has become synonymous with New York’s downtown cool crowd. For the company’s fifth season showing during New York Fashion Week, designers David Ferreira, Namilia, Moses Gauntlett Cheng, and Kozaburo—all of whom were discovered and selected by a panel of industry insiders via Vfiles’ social networks—debuted collections full of vivacious energy, featuring Big Bird-esque feathers, polyurethane ballooons, and oversized emoji stickers. As always, live entertainment only added to the atmosphere. This year A-Track provided a high-energy set, up-and-coming rapper Keith Ape performed midway through the show, and Shaun Ross and Migos made cameo appearances on the runway.
