“They’ve all got great personalities and are four inches or more.”
What do you do when you get homesick?
“When I’m homesick, I’ll throw on some Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, which makes me feel all sappy about Nashville. I really miss Honky-Tonk Tuesdays and driving on the highway.”

What was your first job?
“I worked at my dad’s record store in Nashville, doing retail and inventory. I was terrible at counting change but great at picking out records. I loved it.”
What was your first concert?
“Naturally, it was The White Stripes. I saw them when I was a newborn. That counts, right? The alternative would be when I saw the Wiggles in preschool. Very punk rock!”

When do you feel the most free?
“When I’m doing something that lacks any coolness or mystery.”
What calms you down?
“Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and a massive throw blanket.”

How do you describe your style?
“Playful and personal! My wardrobe is very sentimental to me, and I’m emotionally attached to every item in my closet. Day-to-day I dress very practical, but give me a reason to dress up and I’ll go all in!”
What’s your defense mechanism?
“I tend to blunt down the edges of myself that might feel “too much” when I’m on guard. But I’ve learned that’s stupid. These days, I’m trying to remember it’s okay to take up space. My soul is much happier when I let people love me for all of me.”

What feeling are you chasing?
“Momentum. I’ve learned that stagnation is my nemesis and stillness can make me feel dull.”
What are you studying?
“I started out studying sculpture in NYC, but right now I’m focusing on my career. But I love sculpture and I’m excited to revisit it when things settle down.”

What does beauty mean to you?
“I know something is beautiful when it catches my attention. I offer my focus and it offers a moment of peace, or at the very least, something nice to stare at.”
What pumps you up?
“Caffeine. Also, spite ;)”

What’s playing in your headphones?
“I’ve been on a Kraftwerk kick lately. I dabble in just about everything, though. The other day, I listened to four hours of Nick Drake and followed that with The Teaches of Peaches and finished off with Fugazi.”

‘The human equivalent of a super-ornate trinket from an antique store: something so bizarre and interesting that you must buy it.”
What’s in your bag?
“Useless nonsense: super glue, lipsticks, pepper spray, and lots of secrets.”
What do you need permission to do?
“I wish I needed a permission slip for every and any online purchase. My eBay account is like a digital graveyard at this point. Some self-control could do wonders for me.”
What are you still figuring out?
“Which one of my hobbies to turn into my passion. I’ve always felt like a jack of all trades and a master of none. I would love to allow myself to get obsessed with one thing.”
What do you need right now?
“A kitten, some quiet, and Miu Miu SS 2008 look 26.”
