With the launch of “Adele’s Dream,” Fendi looks to the past through the eyes of the future. The Hitchcock-inspired short celebrates Fendi’s iconic Selleria line of handbags—including the “Adele”—and its relationship with the city that inspired it, Rome. The new film, for which we are pleased to premiere the above trailer, traces the evolution of the Adele from its 1925 debut, when the house was still under the direction of Fendi founder and the bags namesake Adele Fendi, to its current 2013 incarnation under her grandaughter Silvia Vinturini Fendi.
