James Franco’s Not-a-Vacation Diary

James Franco—actor of Spiderman and General Hospital fames alike, performance artist, face of Gucci fragrance—doesn’t take vacations. And while he isn’t taking vacations, he keeps a non-vacation summer diary for us. Here are Franco’s personal photos from his time at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. On TV, Franco’s character (ambitiously named “Franco”) is a performance artist who uses a museum show to trap and murder a rival. Franco is pictured above with new MoCA director Jeffrey Deitch.
