The Lacoste Days of Summer

I had the opportunity to kick off the summer season with a Memorial Day trip to Paris to celebrate the launch of ENERGIZE: Lacoste's latest, limited edition fragrance, alongside the French Open.

Adding to my already incredible experience in Paris, I also had the chance to brush up on my own game with a little help from the pros. While I'm still working on perfecting my serve, I cherished the play time with the experts and found new appreciation in the game (and a new hobby I have since integrated into my life in New York).

Our next stop was the Paris Country Club where we were given an intensive and interactive walk-through of the ENERGIZE fragrance. The creative directors masterfully described the embodiments and different components of the emotive fragrance. Months later, the dynamic scent still evokes the spirit and pride of tennis: from the buzzing excitement of the crowd, to the irreverent sportsmanship of the players.

On our second day in Paris, we were privileged enough to attend the French Open to watch the matches after a breakfast at Roland-Garros. This was my first professional tennis experience and I loved everything about it—from the excitement radiating through the silent crowd to the explosive energy from the players.

The brand's tennis-filled history continues to play an integral role in shaping each season's designs, and is especially relevant and refreshing in today's athleisure-obsessed market.

It was an easy task to find versatile pieces that worked for the rest of my trip (and that I have continued to incorporate into my wardrobe all summer long).

Upon landing in Paris, my first stop was L'ESPACE LACOSTE, a personal shopping experience featuring the Lacoste FW16 collection, including additional classic styles.

Lacoste is a brand deeply entwined within the history of tennis. The founder, René Lacoste, was an avid player and innovator, and his passion for tennis left a distinct mark on his iconic brand.
