Casting Call: She's All That

Before Zack shines the spotlight on her, Laney Boggs is quiet and dorky. She enjoys art and theater and works at the local falafel shop, but soon finds herself invited to parties and prom. Well-versed in moodier roles, Morgan Saylor is an obvious fit.

Popular and pretty Taylor Vaughn doesn't think twice about leaving her high school boyfriend Zack for a reality television star six weeks before prom. Come on, who wouldn't? But when Brock embarrasses her horribly, Taylor grows jealous of Laney and does anything she can to get back at her (including wearing gold lipstick with a matching dress). We would love to see the gorgeous Nicola Peltz as Taylor.

It is Dean Sampson, Zack's ill-advised BFF, who initiates the bet to make Laney prom queen. After a falling out, however, Dean betrays Zack and turns Laney against him. While no one can replace Paul Walker, who played the role of the handsome jackass perfectly in the original film, we think Cameron Monaghan could do a decent job as Dean.

What would a remake of She's All That be without a cameo by the original Zack Siler, Freddie Prinze, Jr.? In the unforgettable commencement scene, Zack Siles walks on stage in nothing but his cap and a well-placed soccer ball. We'd like Prinze to experience the other side of the prank as the commencement speaker.

Who better to play the reality star Brock Hudson than former One Direction hottie Zayn Malik? Now that he's done with music, he'll have plenty of time to entertain us on the big screen.

Zack Siler, originally played by Freddie Prinze, Jr., rules the campus until word gets out that the popular Taylor Vaughn has dumped him for Brock Hudson, an ousted former member of The Real World household. Bitter and heartbroken, Zack tries to prove that anyone could replace Taylor by transforming Laney Boggs in the prom queen. Through his many plots and tricks to help Laney, he inevitably falls for her. To step into Freddie P-J's shoes, we nominate up-and-coming cutie Dylan O'Brien.
