Harry Rawlins is Dolly's husband. The Widows soon realize that he in fact did not die a fiery death when he comes out from the rubble and blackmails them into giving him their loot. Dutch actor Michiel Huisman would be fantastic playing someone malicious enough to let his best friends and co-conspirators die, and then threaten his wife for stolen money.

Played by Brooke Shields in the 2002 miniseries version, Shirley Heller is a fellow widow. Zoe Saldana would really shine in such an action-packed drama, especially with three other impervious women by her side.

While the widows are taking over their husband's criminal group, a police detective named John Maynard investigates their husbands' failed robbery and tragic deaths. He's trailing closely behind the widows and has a hunch that they're up to no good. We could easily see Tom Hanks in this investigative role, playing the good guy in society's eyes, but the one who is out to get the film's protagonists.

Claire Danes has been playing a gutsy CIA agent on Homeland for four seasons now. We would love to see her on the other side of the table, playing criminal Bella O'Reilly.

Felicity Jones recently starred as Jane Wilde, Stephen Hawking's wife, in the biopic The Theory of Everything, showing audiences her aptitude in portraying a resilient and inspiring woman. It would be even more thrilling to see her as a female with darker edge, such as widow number three Linda Pirelli. As part of the criminal crew of widows, we would see another side of the British actress.

After their husbands' deaths, the widows are left to take care of their families and deal with an opposing gang that's encroaching on their husbands' former criminal territory, not to mention a developing police investigation. Amidst this turmoil, Dolly Rawlins takes the lead and devises the plan to use the books and ledgers their husbands left behind to pull off the heist themselves. Jessica Chastain has played strong and gritty characters before, particularly in Zero Dark Thirty. She would do a great job of playing a commanding woman like Dolly.
