Fashion Week Hair Forecast

Expect a comeback of the messy, undone updo, channeling Brigitte Bardot—an old-Hollywood look with a modern twist. It is a very classic, yet edgy look. I would love to see this at Zac Posen.

You will not see heavy weaves or extensions on the models this season. As well, there will be fewer braids on the catwalk.

There will be a lot of inspiration from the '30s and '40s on the runways. The coif and shiny style is a more conservative, but fun; In Paris, this was seen at Dior, and I believe that we will see it again at either Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren.

This season, it is all about the texture. You will definitely see a lot of undone hair on the runway—it is going to be about creating the messy look. You might expect to see with a lot of texture on the Proenza Schouler runway.

There will be a lot of color on the runway, especially very vibrant colors such as orange and red; this is a trend you can expect to see everywhere—it’s going to be a very colorful season, and not just for clothes.
