Cheek Color with Nude Makeup

Monotone on eyes and lips and really matte everywhere else. Checks are showing color this season more than eyes. Usually there's a smokey eye trend, but not this time around.

Bold Lips
SEEN ON: Vivienne Tam, Richard Chai (pictured), and Herve Leger

Matte red, or slightly creamy, but not glossy. They went bold with solid color–no stains here. The lips are strongly defined, while verything else on the face is barely there. This is look is definitely intended for fall, but it's also fun–not your generic cold weather makeover.

Cat Eyes
SEEN ON: Jill Stuart (pictured)and Christian Seriano

Very minimal eye lid with liquid or cream black liner. I noticed that the line this season was really thin and all around the eye, as opposed to really thick and just on top. This is definitely unique. When you line just the top lash line, you end up with a 50s or early 60s look. The cat eye is more modern and less flirty.
