Christopher Makos-Polaroid

BREAST: With the immediacy of the Polaroid, it was always so much fun to ask your friends to take their clothes of and show their business, in this case, the very beautiful breasts.

DUZ: This was just a found object. I just loved the typeface and the color of the box, and I was experimenting with how well Polaroid film saw what I saw.

Paper Bag Man: I actually shot this picture for Interview. He was the paper bag comic, and of course, this led everyone to me ask to photograph them with a bag on their head.

OJ Simpson: I was photographing on set of a movie with James Coburn, and OJ was there goofing around and playing with the gun. Little did we all know what this really meant.

TV Marilyn: I always told art directors that I could photographer anyone they wanted, including dead people. I love television because you can photograph everybody onscreen. This is one of my favorite photos of Marilyn.
