Spring Sneakers

Keds collaborates with upscale retailer Jeffrey to re-make the classic Champion lace-up in bright-colored suede. A super-plush take on the typically canvas sneaker, they're lined with terrycloth on the interior to prime you for beach season (or remind you of your uncle). Look out for them on May 1.

Lanvin has used the blue and pink leopard from the Spring/Summer 2009 runways in their classic lace-up sneakers. Before calling it the print of the season, wise words by Alber Elbaz: “There is nothing scarier than being ‘the designer of the moment,’ because the moment ends.” We know we'll re-set our watches come Fall.

springs for your vertical leap.

If you can't wait till May, look out for the patchwork Liberty print Nike Dunks, which come out this weekend at the Nike Sportswear store at 21 Mercer St in Soho. These sneakers belong with some light-wash ripped-up denim shorts.

Sergio Rossi brought the satin fabric, Puma brought the classic lace-up design, and it's a date. They have also created a high-heel style for those multi-taskets among us.
